I restarted my computer and when it turned back on my whole account was gone.
There were two accounts on, my moms and mine, and now only my moms is there
and I'm the one with all the important documents, pictures and music. how do
i get it back? plus, i was the orginal admistrater...

Super worried...

You apparently have XP Pro and were using the built-in Administrator
account for your daily work (not recommended). After a second user
account with administrative privileges is created the built-in
Administrator account is hidden on the Welcome Screen. This is by
design. You can access your account by doing Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the
Welcome Screen. Then type in "Administrator" without the quotes and your
password, if any. You can set Windows to display the built-in
Administrator on the Welcome Screen, but a better idea is to create a
new user account for your daily work and copy the Administrator account
to it (all your stuff).

Here's how to do that:

You will need to log into the new account once before you can copy
anything to it.

Here's how to display the Administrator account on the Welcome Screen if
you decide to not do the recommended thing:

Administrator on the Welcome Screen (Line 5)

Thanks for the answer to this problem, Malke. And thanks Melissa for posting
the question. I had created a user account for my daughter and my original
account disappeared, which frustrated and scared me. No one ever told me not
to work out of the original administrator account. I think I have my answer.
Thanks again.
