I moved some files over to a larger drive. I then
unplugged this drive and re-installed Windows XP (I had
some real bad issues with my explorer.exe) Fixed those
but now I have lost access to several files and while it
seems that the data is there I can't get at the data.
This is problematic with several applications and each
ahve their own error messages. Please email me your

I have installed 2 hard drives in one puter. One should be set to Master and the second as slave. I was able to copy files this way. However programs that worked on one hard drive did not work on the new hard drive. I believe that this because their are no registry values for these programs in the new HD registry. There are programs out there to transfer your old files to new HD. There is also something I have heard of called a Laplink. Not familiar with laplink. I am going to quit buying programs online because of this. I have no backup disk. Programs are not installed just by copying the file. Naturally I cannot find my serial codes.
