i ahve 2 pcs joined by a router on a home network. up
until last week, they both worked fine other than not
being able to share any files or printers. Now my second
computer won't connect to the internet at all. I've
checked my cable and it is plugged up and is fine. The
green light on my router isn't lit for the second
computer's cable. My server is win xp pro and the other
comp is running win 2000 pro. What might be causing this
problem? It has been working for over a year and all of
the sudden it stopped. HELP!!!

Do you have a firewall on the main computer that is
blocking the second unit? Check your internet
connections, then properties.
