I have a problem where I sometimes loose the browsing part of the internet
connection. I cannot find any logic in when this happens and can't figure out
how to solve it. I hope there is someone who can point me in the right
direction. Here are some details

When this issue happens:
* I cannot open webpages anymore ('action cancelled' message).
* I can still send and retrieve email
* MSN is still online
* Signal Strenght of the wireless LAN is 'Excellent' and status is 'Conected'.
* I have access to the shared folder of the other computer
* I can access Xerox DocuShare pages which is on a server in our office
(address like http://sub.domain.net:1234)

* This only happens on my laptop when I am at home in the wireless network.
* There is no problem with this laptop in the wired office LAN.
* The other laptop in the wireless network at home does not have this problem.
* Using the 'Repair' option for the wireless network does not solve the
problem.
* Closing and reopening the browser does not solve the problem.
* Log off and back on to Windows does not help.
* Sometimes the connection comes back in 30-60 seconds,
* Mosty I need to restart the computer.

I have a
* Zyxel ADSL modem
* Trust Router and WLAN PCMCIA cards
* Zonalarm (disabling does not solve it)
* Ad-aware & Ad-watch (disabling does not solve it)

Hi,
I'm assuming Windows XP?

I don't think that this will help, but it won't hurt...
Next time this happens, log on as an administrator.
From Start> Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type the following, and then press ENTER:
netsh Winsock reset

Nothing else comes to mind. Someone else may have an idea.

Hope this helps,
Don

Yes it's XP pro SP2, incl all security patches. Stupid from me not to write
that down.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it next time when it happens again.

I am still interested to hear other suggestions and a permanent solutions
for the cause.
