We are having a problem when we try to print multiple page
documents on our HP 5000 Laser Jet (normally in word but
not exclusively) if we just hit the print button not
changing any of our settings we will get the whole page
but the formatting maybe wrong. If we go into the page
setup before printing then without fail we will get an
error that says "this document maybe outside printable
limits do you wish to continue" if you say yes then it
will print fine. If you say no or if you need to go back
and change something else without logging off first then
it will only print about 75% of the page. We have the same
thing happening if you try to modify a header of footer;
once you have done this it will only print 75% of the
page. You can get this to fix itself if you change printer
do your page setup there and then change back the 5000 and
then just hitting the print button from there making sure
not to change anything.
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this
problem? We have checked our drivers everything looks ok
there, I have even added a little ram thinking that the
low amount of RAM we had might be causing it. We are up to
date on all Windows SP and updates. But, nothing seems to
be helping the problem.
