Loss of Network Connections

I am having a problem with XP Pro. I log into my domain,
no errors... Then a few hours later, I go to use a network
mapped drive, and I can't. It's like it has been
disconnected. I still get out to the internet, and I can
ping the server, but I can't connect to the drives that
have been mapped.

I also lose connection to my network printers. Not sure if
this is the same thing, but it all happens at the same
time.

I have to reboot to get the connections back.

Any help?

if this is autodisconnection issue, you may want to check the hardware
settings and power management.

You need to either lengthed the time or turn off the
autodisconnect. This must be done on the server hosting
the mapped drive. To turn off autodisconnect using the
command line type:

net config server /autodisconnect:-1

Hope this helps!
