Hello folks,
I'm having a slight problem with my 9800pro. It keeps lousing it
anti-aliasing ability. The 3D settings show it set to 8X but it's just not
working. Also the option in Max Payne 2 will not allow my to turn it on.
This problem has occurred on the past three Catalyst revisions and
reinstalling the drivers seems to work as a temporary solution.

Anyone else experienced this or knows how to solve it.

My system Specs all with the latest drivers with the possible exception of
the M/B (which I'm about to look into)

Athlon XP 3000+
1GB PC 400 DDR RAM
SB Live Audigy 2
NForce 2 M/B
Radeon 9800pro
Windows XP Pro with SP1

Many thanks,

Go back to 3.7 until they fix it. And complain to the driver feedback (same
url as the drivers on the ati site)

I don't know what you've actually set to 8x, FSAA goes from 2x to 6x.

Turns out that my monitor had defaulted back to a PnP for some reason.
Setting it back to the correct drivers seems to have sorted it.

Yeh, that was me making a mistake. I should have written 6x not 8.

Cheers.

Is there a known problem then?

Thanks.
