Loss of files.

Please, Please can you help???
I keep losing my Favourites and Personal Filing Cabinet.
AOL says it is a Microsoft problem even though they do
manage to retrieve them eventually. The last incident of
losing them was only on Wednesday,(6/8/03) I logged on
this morning and they had gone again. Can you tell me if
AOL is right and it is a Microsoft problem or not. This
has only happened since I went on to AOL Broadband.

Carol,

I'm using AOL dialup, but I had similar problems with
favorites, address book and some IM settings. I ultimately
found out that updating from AOL 8.0 to 8.0 Plus resolved
all of the problems. It appears to me that the real
problem was on their server. If you're not using version
8.0 Plus, I would recommend that you upgrade to it. You
can download it or get them to mail you a disc. (I would
also suggest that you DO NOT go to version 9.0 yet. AOL is
offering it, but it's still a "Beta" version.)
