Loss of files after deleting user accounts

Can anybody help - we recently deleted two user accounts
to just have one and in the process lost the files that
were in them. Are they still in there somewhere, have
they been lost for good or can they be recovered ? We
have tried using the Restore Point facility but cannot go
further back than last December.

Your files should be in a folder named "User" that was
created by Windows when you deleted the account. Search
for it with Windows Explorer.

Find more info in the Help and Support Center by
searching on "delete user account" and select number l.
under Microsoft Knowledge Base "Technical Articles".

You might have to Restore to the point where you deleted
the account for the "User" folder to be available.
