All,

I previously had fax console on my machine (XP Home Ed),
but it has disappeared. Came with my computer, but it is
a serious problem to reload all the sofware and startover,
is there a source for the Windows XP Fax console by
download?

1. Goto Control Panel->Add or remove programs
2. In that click on the tab Add/Remove Windows Components
3. In the given list of components, check whether the check box
corresponding to Fax Services has been checked. If it was not checked,
please click on that check box and click the Next button. This will install
Fax Services on your machine. This will also require your Windows XP CD. Now
goto Start->Programs->Accessories->Communications->Fax->fax Console.
4. If the check box has been checked then do a start->Run and in that run
dialog box, type fxsclnt.

If this does not solve your problem please provide more details as to
whether you are getting any error in step 3 or 4.

Hi,
Can you check whether you have fax installed. You can do this by following
these steps:-
1) Go to Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Add\Remove Windows
Components
2) On this window check if the "Fax Services" option is checked.
If it is not checked, you do not have fax service installed.
Please install the fax service by checking this option and following the
Wizard.

In case, the Fax service is correctly installed look for fxsclnt.exe(fax
console executable) in %WINDIR%\system32 directory.

Thanks,
