I had to reinstall XP Home after having difficulties
removing an obsolete McAfee and lost the PARADISE picture
I was using for a desktop wallpaper. That selection had
gone to blue. How do I get it back or to repair it?
=============================================
If you right click your desktop and from the menu...
choose / Properties / Desktop tab...you will
find a list of available backgrounds. This will include
the images that are included in Win XP and possibly
the files that you have saved in your My Pictures folder.
Also...you could search your hard drive and see if
you can find the image file.
Go to...Start / Search / Pictures / Pictures and photos...
Enter...paradise...and click...Search.
If you find the image....open it / right click it and choose...
Set as desktop background.
If you still do not find the file...try using the Google Image
Search and see if you can find it.
Go here:
http://www.google.com/
Click the "Images" tab...enter 'paradise' / search.
