In MS Office OUtlook 2003, I can type the first letter of a person I want to
send an email to and a list comes up with those entries.

However, when I reboot the computer, I do NOT get the list. If I go thru
the To link and select a person, that person always shows up for subsequent
emailings. That is until I reboot.

How can I fix this so I can keep the person?

Thanks

Sounds like you have cleanup or security software that is wiping or
deleting (or maybe renaming) the .nk2 file used to cache the manually
inputted entries in the To/Cc fields in Outlook.

That's a sign that you have some add-in not allowing Outlook to close
properly. Disable all your add-ins and eneable them one-by-one until you find
the culprit.

Put the person in your Contacts folder. Don't rely on the autocompletion
cache to retain those addresses forever.
