Losing my LAN

Whenever, I use the VPN connection, I lose my LAN. Any
suggestions. Does this have something to do with the
Internet Connection Protocol? What settings do I need to
adjust to keep the LAN from dropping out when the VPN is
active?

The problem could be that the IP address range used by the VPN
conflicts with the IP address range used by your LAN. If so, the
solution is to change one of them.
