Losing last few words in RTF file when using "OutputTo" command

Sometimes the last portion of text is lost when I output a report to a RTF
file using the "OutputTo" command. The lost text can be from any memo type
field. The problem is independent of the length of the text. When using the
“OpenReport†command all of the text appears. I output to a RTF file to have
an electronic version of the report that can be emailed and that can be saved
in a separate electronic repository. Access 2002 database.

Anyone know of a fix, or why the text is lost? Or a different method to
create an electronic report?

The "Export as RTF" has always been unreliable in this regard and should be
avoided for all reports where controls can "grow". Fairly simple tabular
style reports usually come out ok, but anything with memos and other complex
attributes WILL have problems.

There's an alternative tool for exporting reports to RTF at
http://www.lebans.com/ReportUtilities.htm.

Other approaches for emailable reports include:

-Access's own snapshot format (though that requires the user to install
free viewer software).

-PDF files. As well as Acrobat and its cheaper rivals, there are some
free PDF-making tools; the only one I've used is CutePDF, which installs
as a Windows printer driver; download from http://www.CutePDF.com.
 
I had problems with RTF too.
If you just need the report to be seen, use Snap Shots - they're maller
files too
