We are moving all our user to a central server (2003), and so far we have moved all the W2K users, we are using home folders set in AD and have been running this with no problems for the last two months.
We are now starting to move the XP users and have found some problems - all users are mapped to 'v:\\server\homeshare\username' in AD - these mapping are fine until you move 'My Documents' to the V: drive. most of the time it will map OK but then it maps 'v:\\server\homeshare' so display everyone folder - but they can not get into the other folders due to permissions but suddenly My Documents has everyone’s folder in it.
Has anyone else com across this please???
