Losing disk space

Matt

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum so please direct me to the
correct one if I'm wrong. I have a Win2k SP4 server that is running SQL
server and has 1 user authenticating to it. It is losing hard drive space
on a daily basis. The 1 user that is authenticating to it is not a heavy
user and mainly saves Word and Excel files to it and rarely accesses SQL.
Any thoughts on what could be causing the loss of space? The virus
definitions are up to date and to the best of my knowledge, is not infected
with a virus.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

In order to understand it you'll need to get to the bottom of what's
consuming the space. You might look at the transaction logs and or any
backup plans you have in place on SQL server.
