Hi,
I have a small office network connected to the internet through a router.
All the stations have static IP addresses.
One of my computers, at least once or twice a day while browsing the
internet, loses its default gateway address for no apparent reason. I have
verified this by using the ipconfig command which shows the default gateway
field as empty.
The way I have been going around this problem is by reassigning the default
gateway address to the card and everything goes back to normal.
Does anybody knows how to resolve this problem?
The system is a Dell Dimension 2350 with 640MB of RAM and WinXP home
edition. The network card is a Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller.
Thanks in advance,
Jorge
