Losing animation when saving gifs from internet

When I save an animated gif to my pictures from a web
page I'm losing the animation. How can I fix this. I used
to be able to save animated gifs with no problem.

i forget which has animation and which doesnt but if animation is gone with *.gif try saving it at *.jpeg should work
