Losing Active Directory Connection

I'm experiencing a problem about once a week where our file server is
losing the connection to AD. We are running Windows 2003 Sp1 as the
domain controller, users are a mix of Windows XP and 2000. Users can
login and I usually don't know about the problem until someone tries to
print and can't. All the networked printers show errors and if I try to
access Users and Computers I receive a messgage that there is no
connection to AD. I have been looking for a solution for a while and
can't find anything. Any suggestions? The only way to recover is to
restart the server.

Thanks,

Chris

Ensure you 'server' does NOT list any external DNS
servers on its NIC->IP properties (for any NICs.)

That is, it must list STRICTLY the internal DNS server
set.

This is really true of all internal "DNS Clients" -- even
the DCs themselves.

If you are still having trouble post your IPConfig /all
results AND your results from NSlookup explicit test
while the problem is occurring.

Paste the ACTUAL text into the message; do NOT re-type
it and do NOT paste in a graphic.
