I noticed that everytime I bring my computer out of hibernation, I can no
longer get on the Internet or Send or Receive email. Restarting my DSL modem
will not work. Only if I reboot the computer will I get the Internet
connection back. I have only recently started having this problem. When do
I look for this problem?

I failed to mentioned the fact that I am using Mozilla's Thunderbird for my
email program and Firefox for my Internet program, if that makes any
difference. I also forgot to mention that my keyboard has a "sleep" button
which I use to put my computer in hibernation, unless it is only in Standby
and not hibernation.??

I also started having a DSL problem after standby, I didn't have this until
after some Vista updates ( I think that is when it started), If i put my
computer in standby, and then wake up, it shows that my DSL connection is OK
but when I try to open ie7 it hangs for a min or so then says I am not
connected, I can right click on the icon and select reset adapter and after
repair it starts to work. I have set all the setting as recommended and still
have problem, this is very fustrating and I usally revert back to XP where I
have no problem. I have a Dell 8300 with a geforce 6200, westell 6100 modem.
I can't believe that I am the only one with this problem. Any help would be
appreciated.
