Have you got or ever had Messenger Plus 3 ?
Most times uninstalling that will take Lop with it if you
have not had Messenger Plus then you will probably have to
use LOP's uninstaller. First follow LOP's own advise as
they just make up random names and every installation is
different so the alternative would be to use Hijack This
and seek advise on removing the LOP entries,

How do I uninstall one of your software products?
There are several methods available to you should you
wish to uninstall any of our software products you had
previously chosen to install:
- You can go to your Start Menu--Control Panel, then
choose the 'Add / Remove Programs' option. Depending on
which version of the software you have installed
locate 'Lop.com' or 'LOP SEARCH' or 'Window Searching'
or ''Window Active' or "Browser Enhancer" or "Ultimate
Browser Enhancer" or "Search Plugin" from the menu to run
the uninstaller.
- Depending on your version You may also be able to
locate a globe type icon in the bottom right hand corner
of your screen (near the clock), right click on it then
click Menu. From the main menu you will see a help button
on the top right hand corner. Click the help button then
choose 'uninstall'.
- Additionally a separate universal uninstall program may
be downloaded here

Only use that uninstaller is you are sure it is LOP and
then reset web settings
Start Menu > Control Panel > Internet Options > Then on
the page that opens press delete cookies and delete files
and include all offline content when deleting files, Next
goto the Programs Tab and press reset web settings then
go back to the general tab and enter the homepage you
want to use in the home page address box then press apply.
It may be worth you running a scan with MS Antispy in safe
mode( Reboot and keep tapping F8 then choose safe mode
from the list) If it detects this version of Lop then it
will be easier to remove it when the files are not running,
