Loosing Passwords

I am using Vista Home Premium and Outlook 2002. When I set up my Email
account with save password up it worked just fine. Then I shut down
Outlook. Restarting Outlook and doing a send/recieve it asked again for my
password. I continued to do the send/receive just fine while Outlook was
still active. When I shut Outlook down and restarted it again later, it
once again asked for passwords. As long as I keep Outlook up, it works just
fine after the initial entry of passwords. Shut it down and it looses my
password again. Inspite of the fact that every time I enter the password I
check the "save password" box.

Can some one help me with this problem, please.

web site I would have beat my head against the wall for a long time. Thank
