I
Isaac Martinez
Hello all,
I have a serious problem, which is now a major nuisance. On my network
which compromises NT, 2000 and 2003 servers, I have Windows 2000 and XP
workstations. I work for a software development firm so we have a number of
dial-up connections to our clients for support purposes. My problem is that
every week an end user will come up to me stating that he has lost all of
his dial-up connections on his workstation 2000 or XP. I usually just tell
them to recreate the connection, however
this is happening more and more frequently now. Also just as another piece
of useful information I'm running SBS 2000 for modem sharing purposes with 1
modem pool.
My questions are the following:
1. Why are the network dial-up connections getting lost?
2. Is there any way to backup the dial-up connections?
If anyone has any information or a possible solution please let me know.
Thanks,
