I have 2 pcs (PC #A > Win xp) (PC #B > Win 98se) I've got
a DSL internet connection connected via a USB DSL modem
into the USB port on PC #A. I've run the setup wizard on
#A and created a disc to run on #B no problems very easy.
Run the Disc on #B goes through the process of set up.
Ask to restart does fine, restarts log on. Done
Everything fine. File Sharing Internet active. Everything
works.
Turn PC #B off for some reason or to restart or turn both
off at end of using them. Restart and the connection is
gone on both. Neither one recognises the other. So the
disc settings are correct the hardware works.
However #B is the problem, if I go to Network>entire
network no pc on there. On #A everything is fine nothing
changes.
HELP! I've tried setting it up by adding the ip myself.
Different protocols, but don't think that is the problem.
Might be in the BIOS but can't see where. I'm lost surley
this is suppose to be this way
