We recently installed a new Windows 2003 server at a
location that already had an existing Windows 2000 server.
They are configured on 2 separate domains due to the new
server running Exchange 2003. All workstations have been
reloaded with Windows 2000 Professional. After a period of
inactivity on a workstation the network mapped drives will
show up under my computer with a X indicating they lost
connectivity. You click on the drive and it immediaitly re
attaches and works fine. This is happening on al
workstations. I was wondering if there is a setting that
causes the mapped drives to disconnect after a period of
inativity, either on the servers or on the workstations.
