Looping text boxes

I have a small block of text (2 to 3 words) that I wish to alternate between
two languages in a continuous loop until stopped.
I can figure out a technique, using custom animations, to change between the
versions but how can I make it loop i.e. change backwards and forwards every
(say) 20 secs.

I amusing Powerpoint 2000 to prepare the slides, though it is possible that
I may be using a later version for the real presentation.

TIA
Chris

Hi Chris

I would set up a custom show with two slides identical except for the text.
Set the transitions to 20 secs auto and in slide show > set up show tick
'loop till esc'. You will need to proved an end show button to get out of the
loop.

Good thought.
But this loop is intended to be on the title slide. So when I drop out of
the loop I want to continue with or link to the rest of the presentation.
Can that be done?

cheers

Thanks John,
I have figured a variant, thanks to your ideas:

Main Presentation has a title slide with Language 1 box on it. It also has
a blank box that hyperlinks to the looping presentation that you suggest.

On starting the Main Presentation the title slide comes up - and I click on
the loop hyperlink.
When the time is right, I press Esc and return to the Main Presentation at
the/its title slide and continue from there.

cheers
Chris
