Hello,

Let me better explain what I am wanting to do. I have a series of
powerpoint slides that I want to loop thru several times, WITHOUT having to
do mouseclicks. I want to start it and walk away and allow it to scroll
through 3 - 4 slides until I stop it.

Does anyone know how to do this, or have code that will give an example?

This is ALMOST what I need but not quite (unless I am not understanding it)
The created the linked PPT and it still requires the mouseclicks to move
from slide to slide. Is there a way elimminate the need for the
mouseclicks? I want it to scroll without user intervention of any kind.

Thx in advance
CL

If you want it to move from slide to slide without clicks, you'll need to
assign transition settings. Set each slide to transition automatically
after XX seconds.

CL,

Just set the "custom animation" for any objects to "wait 0 seconds" and "untick advance on mouseclick"

Thanks for your assistance

Something is still not right. I am running PP 2003. I have the DELAY = 0
and START = After Previous. The custom transition effect credits.

I do not have anything that says "untick advance on mouseclick" but it
sounds like exactly what I need to have.

Again this is PP 2003.

Stuck again

What you're describing is a custom animation. What about the slide
transition? Go to Slide Show > Slide Transition. Is it set to Advance on
Mouse Click? Set it to Automatically after XX seconds.

Thank you, This is now working very well.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the the ability to EASILY specify that a subset
of of slides in a deck loop continuously until you want rest of show to
continue.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
