Looping Show inside a Show

I need to create a presentation that has "slide shoe" in the middle of the
presentation. I have 8-12 jpg images that will be one slide per image. I
want the presentation to use the advance on mouse click until I get to the
picture section. The picture section is like a show within a show. When I
get to the picture section I want it to start and advance automatically and
loop until a mouse click. The mouse click should break out of the embeeded
show and continue with the next slide in the master show.

Is this possible and can someone give me an idea of how I can accomplish
this?

Thanks

That exact scenario, no. But you can get close (if you are willing to
substitute an escape key for a spacebar on one keystroke).

Here's how ...
1. Build the mini "Slide Shoe" that will loop and select 'Loop until Escape'
from the SlideShow | Set-up dialog box.
2. In the same folder, build the main show. On the slide where the loop
should begin, insert the link to run the looping show.

When it is time to run the show, start the main show and advance thru it.
When the loop is to start, advance into the linked show and it will begin to
loop. When it is to finish, hit Escape and the show will revert back to the
slide on the main show.

Look at this link to learn how to link the 'looping show':
