Hi all,

I have cut some scenes from a dvd to include in a powerpoint
presentation as Mpeg files. as some of them are only 20 secomds long I
need then to loop maybe 6 or 7 times. Can anyone help - we've tried
virtually everything!

Thanks

Ian

Ian,
we've tried virtually everything!
Have you tried...right clicking the movie image in powerpoint and choosing
"Edit movie object" (which is badly named).....which really shows "movie options" and there is the old ppt 97 options

"loop until stopped" and
"rewind movie when done playing"

Along with total playing time
and where the "link to the movie is"

Cheers

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

While you can use the Edit Movie command to control whether or not a movie
loops or not, there is no option for specifying how many times a movie (or
sound) loops.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that some kind
feature for how often inserted media repeats, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.
