Loopback policy processing need HELP !

hi,

I've successfully implemented loopback policy processing for my Terminal
services server. So that everyone who logs onto that computer now gets the
same set of User Side Policy Settings.

However this has worked too well. As i used to have single OU setup for
Special user's which had custom settings. And now becuase they logon to the
terminal server (which has loopback processsing enabled). They take on those
settings, not the settings which i've got specified in their own OU.

How can i get loopback processing working whilst still getting this single
user to maintain their own policy...

please help

Many thanks

Hi

I can't see how this can happen easily. Before I try to suggest a plan, I
need more info:

1. Do users normally log into their workstations and is it a requirement
that they have a different set of user configuration settings apply when
they do? i.e. Do they get different policy applied from their own OU when
they log in somewhere other than the TS?

2. Are the special settings for this one user different to the policy they
would normally get when logged into their own workstation?

3. Is it desirable to keep the policy settings on the TS completely separate
to the policy settings for normal workstation logon? If you were using
policy loopback in merge mode, would this be undesirable?

Kind regards
