loop log on win2k

Help me with this problem. All of a sudden windows 2000
server wont let me log in. It loads settings then saves
settings right away. i can get to it over the network, etc
but...?

Hello,

Boot the servers in Safe mode. How are you accessing
those servers over the network?

I am accessing over network yes. Booting in safe mode as
well as 'last known good' doesn't do anything. Server
seems fine just can't get onto it unless through network.
