I am having problems with my sound card and wanted to
uninstall my sound drivers and start all over. I have
looked every place that I could think to look and there
wasn't any options to uninstall them. Someone told me to
do it through the registry but I would rather avoid that.
Does anyone know how to uninstall sound drivers?

Thanks

Fuzzy,

You can uninstall your sound drivers by opening the System applet in the
Control Panel, clicking the Hardware tab and going into Device Manager.
From there, locate your sound card under Sound, video and game controllers,
right click on it and choose Properties. On the property page that appears,
click the driver tab and choose Uninstall to uninstall the driver currently
used for your sound card.
