Hi,

I am looking to start a career as a first line support/helpdesk technician.
I have a computer science degree and have a Comptia A+ qualification. I am
currently studying for MCDST in Windows XP. I am living in the UK. I would
like to know how do I go about this? How do I gain IT support experience?

Run. Run away now. Don't ever look back. You have been warned.

Start by working on friends computers, charge a small fee. Have friends
get you into places where they work. Give FREE service to small non-
profit groups while you're starting, with the condition that they
provide you with contacts and a reference for more work.

After a couple years you should have enough experience where a company
might hire you.
