looking to buy a video card

My options are
* Hauppauge PVR-150MCE £40
* FlyTV Prime 30 / 30FM TV AND VIDEO CAPTURE CARD £25
* Hauppauge WinTV-Go TV Tuner PCI TV + Teletext + Software PVR + Nicam
£30

I'm more itnerested in recording from videos to comp.

I notice that the FlyTV one has RF cable input for TV. And S-Video and
RCA and others for video. Looks very flexible.

I've heard that software ones should be avoided and I think that the
FlyTV is software based. I don't want to spend much on the card
though. NOt really more than £40.

*maybe £60 * if less than that is rubbish.

I want it to record digital *only if my TV has digital*.
I don't want to have a facility of watching digital tv on nmy computer
'cos i don't even have that facility on my tv. it'd be a major
distraction!

Of those, I'd go with the PVR-150MCE if I was running MCE, otherwise make
_sure_ you can get all the drivers and applications you need to use it.
They have a non-MCE version that comes with a different softward bundle.

ah, I didn't realise about MCE until I googled. I just have Win XP Pro.
The shop I go to didn't have any regular PVR one. I saw this one...
going cheap less than £15 and bought it Hauppage WinTV Go PCI Card
