Looking for website subscription software

I have a web site and I am planning to offer a subscription service. I am
looking for some advice on what software that I can use that will allow me
to do the following:
1.create an account for the user,
2 specify the length of time they have to log in
3. send out subscription renewals
4. allow me to set what parts of my site that a user is allowed access to.

Can anyone suggest a program that can do the that dosen't cost a fortune?

e-Xoops will do that and is a fun learning experience, for me anyway.

It's a free web site script using php. Your host or server needs mysql
and php. I'm not sure what you mean by item 2. e-Xoops does have
"members" areas that can be set and managed.

That was weird. My e-xoops reply to Techie showed up "to me" under a
different thread. When I posted the "oops" reply to that, they both showed
up under the correct thread.

So this is an "oops" reply to an "oops" reply. Never mind....continue on :)
 
While this is a great portal, i do not see how his request is met by this
app.

I have it installed on http://beta.com-techs.net/exoops

and fail to see anywhere on the site where people can subscribe to have
thier own site? unless there is a plugin or modual somewhere im missing.
