Hi I'm looking for a program for XP Pro where I can highlight a file and
have a drop down list where I can hide the file or unhide it

Dunno about an extra program to do it, but...
Right-click the file -> Properties. Check or uncheck Hidden and press OK.

I imagine that would interfere with any program that would let you
right-click a file and select Hide too, then.
