Is there any tool that can repair corrupt excel sheets? See also my
posting two days ago.

Yes. It's called the user. You broke it you mend it and hopefully you wont
do THAT again!

If you could give a little more information we may also be able suggest ways
to make sure (as far as possible) that it isn't broken again.

I'm not sure how many people will take the time to find your post from a few
days ago. You may want to include any relevant details--or, even better, post a
followup in that original thread.

Sometimes opening and saving in a different version of excel can help (sometimes
not).

If it is a corrupted workbook, you may want to try openoffice. Lots of people
have said that it's recovered workbooks that excel couldn't.

If the file is really important, there are commercial recovery services. I've
never used it, but you might want to check into:

The free ways can be frustrating so keep that in mind if you try
them. The commercial software is usually reliable, but be sure to try
the demos before purchasing. You may want to try several demos to see
which one works the best.
