Wonder if anyone can help?

I'm looking for soemthing like Spiveysofts's Move-a-Pic to let me quickly
sort a big pile of images into various directories.

Most of the freeware servers and links direct me to SpiveySoft's web page,
which seems to be defunct.

For background, Move- a -Pic is / was a fairly simple little gadget that
allows you to assign directories to 'hot keys' so you can very quickly put
the files where you want them using single key strokes. It doesn't create
speacial albums or files that tie you to a particular piece of software
forever.

Seems easy, but I couldn't find anything like it..

Any help appreciated.

Many thanks for that but it's not quite what I was hoping for - although
irfanview allows you to assign up to five directories as 'destinations', I
don't think you can assign 'hotkeys' to route a file to the directory of
your choice and so you need to use the mouse to finish the operation.

Please feel free to correct me if I have misunderstood irfan though.
Thanks
Ian

In IView version 3.85 there are ten pre-selected folders to move files to
pressing F7 + a number (pre-selected folder or drive) of your choice.

Select several files eg. in the thumbnail view and send them where you want
with F7 + a number from 1-10, anything easier?

When you find files in an open folder without thumbs you want to move with
submenu & mouse, you need 'File Target' freeware from

Thanks again. It looks like I may have an older copy of irfanview so I'll
try an up-to-date version and see how that goes.
