Hello Tom,

My name is Geoffrey Peabody. I was looking for a response
to my question in the newsgroup, and I saw your request.
Ummm, I don't know of any websites that have PowerPoints
(or any that you're looking for, anyway), but I would be
willing to send you a copy (on CD) of one that I made in
January that won me 1st place at my school international
student convention. It is more of a "Power User" made
presentation, but it is a very nicely put together one
that would give you some awesome ideas, I'm sure. It has
music, video, animations, killer graphics, and more. It
is best viewed in PowerPoint xp (2002), and it does
require a lot of memory (256 megs of ram will do you
fine). Anyway, let me know if you are interested. I might
even have some ideas for you. As far as the autorun CD
aspect of it goes, you will have to use a third-party
autorun program, because PowerPoint doesn't have a
feature built in to do that. I can also give you advice
on that aswell.

Anyway, let me know if I can do anything for you...I can
do yours for you if you like (for a nominal fee) if you
would really like a simple, yet eye-catching
presentation. I do that stuff on the side to buy my
graphics libraries and stuff.

Well, look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

"The Geoff"

I also like to make elaborate PP presentations. I recently took about
a year and a half working on my parents' special 13 minute
presentation for their upcoming 40th wedding anniverssary. It has
music, video files all throughout as a kind of retrospective of their
lives. I wanted to put it onto a VCD or something so that it will be
easier to show and distribute to family but have had no luck doing so.
I once tried the autorun way and found that the slides didn't work
properly and the timing was all off due to the slowness after
packandgo, which is also a problem for me. I would love to find a way
to make the whole presentation into a video format so that I can put
it onto a VCD. If you find out any information I would love to hear
some tips. Thanks.

Chris
