Hi,
I have a 5 site wan connected with 128K ISDN lines. Site A, B, C , D and E.
Because of long distance call fees, site E is reached via site D which
causes a problem for site E when site D lines go down like today. On site E
I have a RRAS configured Win2k server that allow remote PC to connect to. I
also have one at Site A configured the same way. Both are Win2k server
configured as Remote access server only. What I need is simple, if site D
lines go down and Site E can't get access to the network ressources, can I
connect Site A RRAS server using dialup to site E RRAS server as router or
something to allow network ressources to site E?
If so, how do I have to configure servers on both sites. As a Router? which
options, LAN only or LAN and demande dial? Will remote pc still be able to
connect RRAS server like before?
Thanks in advance.
