hi -
For a local Boy Scout group,
I'm trying to gather some old computer technologies.
I pretty much have everything,
but recently tossed my old hard disks
- original 5" 10-30meg, current 3.5" hard disk and the 2.5" laptop -

If you have any of these old drives just sitting around,
and would be willing to send them to me -
it would be greatly appreciated -

Phil - Chicago -

Give me an address to send to:
I have several hard drives you are welcome to.They are:
2 @183 meg..1@85 meg,1@63 meg,and one @42meg
Give me an address to send them to.

Would that you had spoken before the holiday. Tossed out a whole trash
can of older components that were passed on to me by the less tech savvy
members of the family. Several full height ##Mb drives, 51/4, and even a
dead 51/4-31/2 combo drive.

Send an address and if some more come my way I'll see about passing them
along,

KC

Hello, Uncle Frank:

Well, I'd like a Pentium III 1GHz (Slot 1, 100MHz FSB) "Coppermine" CPU,
if you could spare one, please. That's a virtual "dinosaur," by current
standards (I'm running a lowly PIII 600MHz, at the moment).

Don't worry, the shipping's on me! <g>

Cordially,
John Turco <[email protected]>

PS: Frank must be a "Dutch Uncle," eh, Folkert? :-P

Guys, I hope you remember to wipe those discs clean
with an appropriate erase utility before sending them
out to a stranger. No telling what social security nos.,
credit card and bank account info might be on them.
