I hope this is an appropriate group for this question?
I work with a non-profit group that uses SQL Server 2000 for their data
backend. They have a moderate size web site with many data driven web pages
(ASP at the moment but looking to move to ASP.NET). They also have several
custom written Windows applications (VB) that access the database.
The people that manage the business have no IT background. They depend on
volunteers like me and some contract programmers to implement everything.
They would like to find some classes (on-line or in the
Columbus/Cincinnati/Dayton Ohio area) to give them a basic understanding of
how to use and manage relational data and what factors non-technical people
need to be aware of when managing IT. We are looking for courses like
"Relational Databases for non Programmers", "Managing an IT Function", etc.
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
