Windows XP looking for antiVirus software

hi everyone,

i'm after a anti virus software for my computer, as i don;t have
antivirus installed. i dont wanna buy in the shop it;s to expensive
especially during these hard econimic and fianical crisses we suffering
from.

i wanna it for free. ANY ONE KNOW GOOD ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE
THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD FROM SOMEWHERE ON THE WEB.

Avast, AVG there are loads out there...Its just a matter of you finding one you like....Although in my opinion i'd rather pay for something than get it free..To me there is more support etc behind it..

It doesn't have a firewall - but Avira AntiVir is probably the best free AV

Just add a seperate free firewall such as Comodo, ZoneAlarm or Kerio.

Plenty of other free software and utilities in the thread HERE ;)
