looking for a win95 app to secure the desktop (for windows 95)

i bought an old laptop with windows 95 and i'd like to give it to my
daughter but was wondering if there is an app somewhere that'll disable the
context menus, certain desktop functions, etc. without me having to go into
the registry ?

Well, there are a lot of tweaker programs thatcan help you with editing the
registry.

Other than that, deleting the windows directory will surely restrict the
usage of windows 95 :o)

A lot of these tweak programs require at least a pentium though and this
laptop is a 486DX100

You can so some restrictions with the windows 95 policy editor and also
change some things wiht the windows 95 tweakui. Both are loose on the net,
without doubt.

A quick google gave me this:
http://www.handyarchive.com/Utilities/Security/688-Access-Manager-for-Windows.html
it is free and does quit a bit. Dunno about being bronse-age compatible
though.
But it seems to me it is not a too big of a payload...
