A couple of months back, I stumbled upon a commercial product as described
in the subject, but I can't find it anymore. It fit in a 5 1/4 bay, and
completely enclosed a 3 1/2 HDD, soundproofing it, cooling the drive with
water. I was sure I bookmarked it but I am unable to find the bookmark. I
have googled for numerous hours over the last couple of days without being
able to find the magic combination of words which leads to success. (Maybe
it was all a dream?)

IIRC, it was a European product as I thought I remembered reading where
people were discussing its cost being too high due to shipping.

Any help????

Thanks a million.

you really do not need watercooling the hard drive IMHO !
check my site under comp/mods, there is a solution also for noise ...

First off, thanks for taking the time to reply. I should have been more
clear. You are correct, generally watercooling a hard drive would be a
waste of time and resources. Your silencer/cooler looks like it would
work well. In my case, having a finished-looking product is
quite important, and the drives will be situated in such a way as to
receive little or no fresh airflow. Any fans (which I doubt will
be used at all) would only be able to recirculate a small volume
of air--hence, I desire liquid cooling.

Best I can come up with (and likely the way I will go) is getting some of
the Smart Drive 2002Cs and modifying them with some copper tubing running
through the foam.
