A VERY simple to use image compressor.

Showing 2 side-by-side panes, 1 showing the original image, the second
showing the compressed image. A slider bar to change the level of
compression. A readout of the new file size.

A basic stand-alone version of Photoshop's 'Save for Web' feature.

Any ideas?
