Looking for a standalone Flash (SWF) player

All I've found so far is either shareware or web-based.

If there's anything to convert Flash to other formats (AVI, etc.), I'd
appreciate that as well. Thanks.
 
Not aware of a Freeware convertor, others may be...
However, for a Stand-alone player (as opposed to a browser plugin)...

I believe this is version 7. I found it recently when looking for exactly
the same thing (I was using the old Player 4 which, if I remember correctly
came from an old Corel CD.
I just didn't fancy downloading it again to find out.
