Looking for a prog to compare 2 files byte by byte

Hi,

after I have burned a CD I would like to compare the contents of it against
my sorce data byte by byte to ensure that the CD has been burned errorfree.

Which program does this best?

Just FYI, if you haven't tried it before, my old Pent 233, 128MB RAM
takes around 2 hours to do this as a dedicated task... slow going for a
whole CD.

I see you've gotten a couple of responses, but I was wondering if
software supplied with CDRW doesn't automatically do a verification
such as a MD5 check. It strikes me as unusual that a (slow) byte by
byte comparison would be done or required when a (much faster) MD5
would be sufficient.

Just wondering.

Or is the glass half as filled as it needs to be? Starting to wonder if there
is a pragmatist view of this at all...
