WESTERN DIGITAL 250GB 7200RPM Hard Drive - 16MB SATA2

Im sure i can find one that is in stock if i check it out at the store.... and perhaps not a SATA2.

Not a bad price for the drives, but I'm sure there are still better prices to be had for that model..

The Samsung Spin Point drives are really good - some of the quietest I've heard.

What are you looking for in your drive? What is your main consideration (i.e. particular size/ min size, noise levels, warantee period, rep[utation for reliability)

I wouldn't bother with the WD as i replace more of that make than any other....Hitachi and samsung are among the quietest and seem to last longer whether there is any corrolation there i don't know but i don't have to replace many of these drives....

You pays your money and takes your choice...:thumb:

...heh... already bought it, was headed up there so i figure id get it while i could.... and a new PSU.... and a new Mobo... and plannin to get a 7900 GT :D
