Looking for a network traffic monitor

I am trying to view traffic inside a small LAN. Specifically I'm
trying to see if there are any "traffic hogs" on the network to
isolate perhaps spyware or other bots that might be on client systems
sending a large amount of data in or outside the LAN.

Are there any tools I can install on a server that will let me see
what kind of volume the LAN is experiencing from different attached
clients? (Bonus if it also tracks wireless connections as well.)

Look at Google for the 'Monitor Lan' string. Some utilities are to Linux
platform and are hacking-near works.
To start you can try the SoftPerfect Network Scanner, but more advanced
programs let you scan ports and other holes.
